Figma is a browser based design platform for interface design, prototyping, and design systems. Around that core, Figma has built the tooling most product teams now expect: shared component libraries, variables, prototyping, developer handoff, and a large plugin and community ecosystem. It has become the default reference point that other design tools are compared against, which is as much a fact about the discourse as it is about the product.

Figma scores near the top on Entity Strength and Trust, because it is described in almost identical terms by technology press, design publications, review platforms, and education sources, giving AI engines a large body of agreeing references to cite. Its weakest relative signal is Freshness, which is still high but sits below its other scores: coverage of Figma is dominated by an established base of evergreen tutorials and comparisons rather than a constant stream of new news items.
