Refund Policy

This Refund Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies to every purchase from topcitationsignal.com.

1. The short version

• The free AI Visibility Snapshot costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
• The Complete AI Authority Audit™ is a monthly subscription: a full audit when you subscribe, then a fresh audit generated and emailed to you on each monthly renewal. Each month's audit is built on demand for the specific domain you submit. Once a month's generation begins, that month's charge is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled.
• You can cancel future renewals at any time from your account. Cancelling stops future charges; it never claws back a report you already received.
• This is disclosed at checkout, right beside the payment form, before you pay. We do not start generating until you pay.
• We always fix billing errors, always re-run a report that failed because of us, and always refund an order we could not deliver.

2. Why an Audit is non-refundable

An Audit is not a licence to access something we already own and can simply switch off. It is a bespoke information product that does not exist until you order it:

1. It is made to order. When you pay, we run live queries against multiple third-party AI systems, gather source and competitor evidence, and generate a report written specifically about your domain.
2. The cost is incurred immediately and in full. Third-party model and data costs are consumed at the moment the audit runs. They are not recoverable if you later change your mind.
3. It cannot be returned. Once delivered, the analysis, findings, competitor intelligence and 90-day plan have been read. There is no way to un-supply it, and no way to resell it to anyone else — it is about your business alone.
4. You saw the product before you paid. Every buyer runs a free Snapshot of the same domain first, and the paid report's full contents are itemised on the checkout page. You are not buying unseen.

For those reasons, and consistent with how bespoke and digital-information products are treated under consumer law, Audits are sold on a final-sale basis.

3. The disclosure at checkout

Before payment can be completed, checkout displays this statement immediately beside the payment form:

"By completing payment you ask us to start generating your first Complete AI Authority Audit™ immediately. Each monthly audit is created on demand just for your domain — once its generation begins you lose the right to cancel that audit, and a generated audit is non-refundable. Your subscription renews automatically each month at the price shown until you cancel; you can cancel future renewals at any time from your account."

Completing the payment is your express request for immediate generation and your acknowledgement of the terms above; that the statement was displayed before your payment is recorded against your order with a timestamp. If you do not agree, do not complete the purchase — the free Snapshot remains available to you either way.

4. Your monthly subscription — renewal and cancellation

The Audit renews automatically each month. Each successful renewal payment triggers that month's fresh audit, which is emailed to you and saved to your account.

• Cancel anytime. Open your account, choose "Manage subscription", and cancel. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — no further charges, and you keep every report already delivered.
• Cancellation is not a refund. Stopping future renewals does not refund a month whose audit has already been generated, for the reasons in section 2.
• A failed renewal generates nothing. If your renewal payment does not go through, no audit runs and nothing is owed for that month.

5. What we always put right

Non-refundable does not mean unaccountable. Regardless of the above, we will always:

5.1 Correct a billing error. Duplicate charges, the wrong amount, or a charge for an order you did not place are refunded in full. Tell us within 14 days of the charge appearing.

5.2 Refund non-delivery. If we take payment and never deliver a report, you get all of your money back.

5.3 Re-run a failed or broken report. If your Audit fails to generate, is truncated, or is materially incomplete because of a fault on our side, we re-run it at no charge. If a re-run cannot produce a usable report, we refund you in full.

5.4 Correct factual errors. If your Audit contains a demonstrable factual error about your business, tell us and we will correct it and reissue the report at no charge.

5.5 Refund an order we decline. If we cancel your order before generation begins — see section 5 of the Terms — we refund it in full.

5.6 Refund an unauthorised charge. If someone used your payment method without permission, contact us and we will investigate and, where confirmed, refund.

6. What is not a ground for a refund

To be clear about what final sale means, we do not refund because:

• You disagree with the score, grade, findings or conclusions.
• The report told you something you did not want to hear, or things you already knew.
• You did not implement the recommendations, or implemented them and did not get the result you hoped for. We do not guarantee outcomes — see section 12 of the Terms.
• Your visibility, ranking, traffic or revenue did not improve.
• A third-party AI platform changed its behaviour after your report ran. A report is a point-in-time measurement.
• You bought the wrong domain by mistake, or bought a second report you did not need. Tell us anyway — if generation has not started, we can usually help.
• You changed your mind.

7. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

• Israel. Where you purchase as a consumer, the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 and the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of a Transaction) Regulations, 5771-2010 apply on their own terms — including the exclusions those rules set out, among them for information products and for goods made specially for the consumer.
• EEA and UK consumers. You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content. That right is lost where you gave prior express consent to performance beginning immediately and acknowledged that you would lose it — which is precisely what the confirmation in section 3 records.
• Elsewhere. If mandatory law in your country of residence gives you a broader right, that law prevails over this policy to the extent of the conflict.

If you believe you have a statutory right to cancel, write to us at reports@topcitationsignal.com and say so. We would rather resolve it directly than argue about it.

8. How to raise a problem

Email reports@topcitationsignal.com with:

• the email address on your account,
• the domain that was audited,
• the date of purchase and the Stripe receipt number, and
• what went wrong.

We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve within 10. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; your bank or card issuer typically takes a further 5–10 business days to post it.

9. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Most disputes are a misunderstanding we can resolve in a day, and a chargeback filed without contacting us first is slower for everyone.

We keep records of your checkout confirmation, the report generated, and the delivery timestamp, and we submit them in response to a dispute. We may suspend access pending the outcome of a dispute, and we may decline future orders from an account that has filed a chargeback for a delivered report.
